Shortest Order to Guide Contact - 34 days

Here is a Facebook post, where some one had a guide contact them just 34 days after an order was placed.

Based on this post, the guide seems to be ghosting this person, so maybe a mistake (?)

I am convinced Rivian is using a magic 8 ball to choose who gets their orders first.

Could it be they may mix in some post 3/1 orders to maximize their revenue opportunity? If I were them, it would be tempting!!

There are a lot of possibilities that make this a mistake. However, also consider that this person is paying the MUCH higher price than anyone that ordered before March 2nd. Rivian makes more money if they sell trucks to newer orders. So I wouldn't be totally surprised by this.

If Rivian is indeed going to mix in the post March 1st orders with pre March 1st orders to maximize revenue, then it 's a very sh*** thing to do on their part.

Totally - I am almost considering reserving another truck at the higher price as an experiment to see which one gets called first.
