Included some pics of the station.
there are 6 fast charging sites and 4 what appeared to be 11kw sites.
one of the 6 fast chargers was a trailer pass through with with the parking and width of lanes is doable for a small trailer I would not try a large trailer for that location. and of course like I have seen at several other chargers with trailer access the site was taken by a ICE vehicle.
I have to say All of the other Rivian stations have worked for me But this one was horrible, and not do to the location.
When I pulled up the app said they where available. so I pulled in to one the screen showed available I plugged in and waited, and waited, and waited. the charger made several clicking sounds then turned red and said unavailable I moved to the next one with the same result then I move to the opposite end same result. At that time the guy that parked in the trailer spot moved so I tried that location and same result. Each charger showed available, and each switched to red and unavailable after a minute of being connected.
After this attempt I called Rivian support. they instructed me to reboot my truck to solve the issue. Which the truck charged earlier that day, so I didn't think the truck was the issue. After the reboot we tried again same result the tech was insisting it was a truck issue, then another R1T pulled up and had the same result. at that point the tech informed me it might be the station.
The frustrating part after each charging attempt that failed and the charger stated unavailable, after a minute it went back to available. therefore, causing each person after to go through the same problem if its down mark it as unavailable and leave it that way. we where traveling 500 miles that day and this stop was on our route. it wasted time and energy. Not just for us but for everyone else thereafter.
They need to work on the Status updates and software for when the chargers go down. DON'T MARK THEM AVAILABLE WHEN THEY FAIL OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
All that being said all of the other stations have been flawless for me. Maybe this is their first stations to go completely down and they have not worked out the bugs for this instance. Please don't route me to a down station!
