To avoid any situation that could harm our reputation, we've been clear about our production timeline from the start. We estimated and communicated a mid-June delivery date for our next batch of wheels in every post and order message. To maintain transparency, we recently posted that the wheels are ready and will be shipped soon from the factory. This was meant to inform our customers that we are on track, not that deliveries would start earlier. The vessel arrived in the USA yesterday, and we still expect to meet our timeline. All our clients who placed pre-orders will receive the corresponding notification tomorrow. In case of any delays, we will be the first to contact our clients and inform them.

Congratulations on your new wheels!
What the hell? How am I harming your rep? All I said was soonish was under promising and over delivering. No insinuation to your business or any other. This was a wild response.

It seems I misunderstood your comment. I apologize for the confusion.

Thanks for the pics. Do OEM center caps fit? Are the ones in your pic just plain smooth black? Did they come with the wheels? Offset is the same?

What did you have on before? OEM 22s?

Thanks.

Good questions!

Center OEM caps do not fit.

Caps are included.

Offset is the same as OEM.

To answer what was not previously answered above:

They are plain smooth black but came with the KAOS stickers that could be applied. You can see them in the photos on the S00nish site. They (stickers) seem almost like they have a metallic layer. I did not install them as I am looking at getting 4 yellow boomerangs (Rivian compass) to arrange in just a way as I want to incorporate a touch of yellow.

I have sport dark 22" wheels that came on my R1S and run Michelin X-ice on them for winter. The OEM wheels are ridiculously heavy. Most OEM wheels are cast and very heavy.

These KAOS wheels are much lighter, look so much better, easier to keep clean (specifically the barrels and cleaning the calipers). I did apply a layer of Geyon Pure EVO to the calipers, wheels, and the R1S is wearing that after I paint corrected it. I really love the way they show off the huge yellow Brembo calipers. The wheel design is classic and very similar to the RS Spyder wheels across many of Porsches models.

One thing to note, the lug holes are very tight. My Tekton thin wall impact sockets were barely fitting and I did nick some paint off while torquing the lugs down on two wheels before I noticed and switched to a different non impact rated thin wall socket. That was my fault for not thinking before torquing. I was far to excited to finish and pull it out of the garage to stare at it.

Like @LivingInKaos said, the higher load rating makes me not worried about off road use. I plan on wrapping mine with the Nokian nAT's.
Ooooh, let us know how the nAT is! I am planning to go with those when my Scorpions are shot (and am recommending them to my dad, who has 20k miles on his 20" stock tires, and they are punishingly loud). The only concrete Rivian review I've seen was from Jose at Rivian Tracker—but he's in florida, and I'd love to get more feedback from someone actually running them off-road and/or in more hilly terrain (ideally also some mud and winter mixed precip experience as well).

I'm not sure where you're based or how many of these things you will be able to test these tires on—but the more experiences, the better, as far as I see. I'm surprised Kyle at Out of Spec hasn't given them a shakedown/review, given his affiliation with Nokian. From what little I've been able to find, they seem like a perfect match for our VT climate/trails/roads, but they don't seem to be a very common option that people go with (maybe because Nokian is fairly new to the AT segment?).

Edit: I just saw that your bio states where you're based out of (duh ??‍♂). That's definitely a better climate/location than Flordia to test hills, mud, mixed precip, snow (eventually), etc. I look forward to any feedback you can share about the nAT!

I'll happily tell you! I'm looking forward to the lesser noise.

To be honest, this was something I did on purpose. IMO, impacts should not be used on wheels, ever. This doesn't stop this, but it makes the person doing the change out at least have to think about it. I put a very thin layer of UHMW tape (0.005") around my sockets to avoid marking.

I use an electric impact for removal only. It's habit because I had a lift at my old house (building a garage at new house to install the lift again) and once it's lifted, its the only way to remove without someone sitting inside pressing on the brake pedal.

I install by hand only and torque by hand. The issue is the Tekton ones I have are double sided so you need to use the provided short extension to actually use the sockets as the 1/2" connection is in the middle of the socket length. This slight extra play allowed it to contact the edge of the lug hole while torquing, which removed a touch of paint. Like I said, it was my fault for not paying enough attention. I actually tried to apply a layer of blue painters tape but it was too thick.

I only bring this up so no one else scratches these beautiful wheels by being impatient/dumb like I was. I enjoy a nice tight hole like the next guy. My tool just wasn't rigid enough to not cause an issue.

More pics because why not:

So we are a small team just in case you didn't know. It's myself and one other person that makes up s00nish. I'm a teacher as my job, and as much as I want to have 50 trucks running our wheels we buy them in small batches.

Like I said once mine are done I'll post em. Otherwise I'd say please be patient as other buy the wheels.
I like the tyres and I am looking for my Rivian R1S(Rivian Blue Color). Does it come with tyres too or just the alloy wheels. Are there any other colors. Do you have pictures with any R1 with Rivian Blue. Any warrnaties.

Given they weigh less, and you're spinning a little less rotating mass, since you've been on them have you noticed any apparent changes/improvements in efficiency? Not looking for science here, just curious really.

Are wheels just include the wheels nothing else. There's no warranty on the wheels, aside from damage from shipping.
