Updated with some details:
There’s not much to the story - unclear as to what caused the fire but it started in the house - had nothing to do with the vehicle - I was home alone and just made it out. The fire hadn’t spread to the outside of the house and my keys/wallet/phone were by back door and I tried to grab them but fire was too out of control by then.
By the time I got across the street to my neighbors and called 911 the fire spread to the carport and the roof of the Rivian was the first thing to catch fire.
But the vehicle categorically had nothing to do with the fire. I havent gotten my home charger installed and have been unable to charge it at home (hit a grounding error when I tried the wall charger).
Here’s some additional pics from today
Sadly both my house and my R1S.It looks like the house had a rough day as well. It must not be yours. I hope everybody is safe.
