There is a less than zero percent chance that the union status of their workforce has anything to do with it. FMVSS etc compliance doesn’t care how the sausage is made, so to speak. The finished article is what must meet regs.Wonder if the delay in regulatory approval has anything do with the fact that Rivian is not a union shop?
An additional $4500 tax credit for union made electric vehicles has been proposed. Don't know. Curious. ?

edit: I’m too lazy to check NHTSA but Rivian is not listed with Transport Canada yet.
