I am pretty sure that the Rivian navigation is being built with Mapbox (https://www.mapbox.com/automotive). I noticed some github activity that seemed to imply it and Rivian's Director of in-vehicle UX transitioned to that position from his role of "Director of Product Design: Automotive & Navigation" at Mapbox.
Great find!!!

Looks like Mapbox has some cool ADAS functionality as well, and appears very feature rich overall. Good stuff.

Just in case we needed additional confirmation, Mapbox tweeted about this back in January of 2020

Gotta love a company that has this as one of its values: (I will let you google what JFDI means)
https://www.mapbox.com/about/company/

JFDI (pronounced jedi)
Commit, then act. We empower people and teams by providing context, autonomy, and responsibility. Great contributors own problems and execute. Great managers get work done by setting context, not by control.

JFDI is like Nike, on steroids. Nike probably considered it, but thought better about putting that on T-shirts.

Hmm. Idea for a t-shirt. Simply the yellow Rivian Compass with the letters JFDI under it!
Great idea, with one suggested modification. I think the Rivian culture would necessitate inserting a "P" in either the first, second, or fifth position of this now-five-letter acronym. As my third grade teacher (Mrs. Deville) told me, "P" is for "please", to which I then asked, while raising my hand impatiently, "then may I please go 'P'?" Luckily, she said "yes", and catastrophe was averted.

In this case, the "P" would seem to fit the culture.

I'd like two Launch Green ones in Large, please!
