Rivians spotted in new Long Way Home series

Did anyone else notice that the wheels on the Rivians in Long Way Home (filmed in summer of 2024)…

…appear to be the same as the wheels used on the California Dune Rivians?

Not sure if anyone has been watching, but I started the new series the other day and absolutely love it (I love the travel aspect of it). Anyway, the Rivian's get some love every so often, but just watched Episode 4 where they find a big station wagon that spun off one of the high altitude roads going through the Norwegian Fjords. It looks to be high centered on a rock over a small hill.

The promptly throw a tow strap on it to one of the Rivian tow hooks and they pull it up effortlessly of course...

In the latest episode the guys stumble on a drag strip in Sweden and the two R1Ts sign on for a run. They didn't post the times, but went like rockets of course all loaded with gear

It was their last series that featured LiveWire and Rivian from tip of South America back o LA that got us interested in Rivian.

Hope this will do the same for more people, especially for R2.

They gave Rivian a big chance on one of their other trips as support vehicles. Many years later they were finally available for purchase and the primary reason I grabbed an R1T. Charging it by pulling it behind a tractor trailer was epic and I've always wanted to try that with mine.

I've been watching the new series, and enjoying it a lot, so I went back to watch the previous one while waiting for new episodes to drop. Pretty cool that they had the first two VIN'd Rivians ever.

It was also funny to see their reaction as they previewed their vehicles just 2 weeks before they had planned to start:
Rivian: Here's your vehicles!

(camera shows a shell of an R1T)

Producer:...
Producer (to camera): It's just s shell! How are they going to get this ready in 2 weeks?

Also, the "charge anxiety" they feel really hits home, reminding me of my first trip up to NY. Clearly my drive was not as adventurous, but I also didn't have a flatbed w/ a diesel generator following me "just in case"...
