I LOVE the idea of having kids color the truck. Obvious in hindsight (they even released that coloring book), but the best of ideas are.

Some things I noticed:

Is this a glimpse of the fabric tonneau cover? (power cover IIRC was rumored to be an option):

Is this one of the R1Ts that was in South America? Note the license plate, and also the slightly misaligned tailgate - the lightbar on the right specifically. I noticed the same in some South America shots of the white vehicle.

...and no, I don't have anything better to do with my time than staring at each and every frame of the Rivian videos. :p

I want them to offer the wrap as an option! They have the pattern just make one for the R1S now and sell it to me!

Rivian posts new awesome video of the R1T in action. From video description:

"Last weekend, we grabbed our cameras and chased a few engineers around the desert as they put the R1T through its paces. Rock crawling. Off-roading. On-track. Enjoy. Test vehicle shown in camouflage (no, we didn’t change our headlights!). Vehicle testing was conducted on a closed course and in areas designed and maintained for this type of driving. Please be responsible out there. "

Interesting at :46 video mark the R1T had what looks to be telemetry equipment attached to the roof.

Cool video from AZ.

Kind of got me thinking that Rivian could offer the offroad equivalent of BMW's M Driver School. I think it would sell.

How is it getting traction mid-slide on gravel like that? That's just cool.

They are beating the snot out of that thing. I love seeing real physical evidence that these vehicles are being stress tested to the max, not driven around some pre-designed "proving ground" with a few puddles and speed bumps. This footage is very confidence inspiring.

Wish there was more activity behind RJ in the factory. Looks pretty empty and slow there. Can they really start delivering June 2021? Humm...

Very Surprised its been quite a long time with out a update.
I suspect that they’re in a bit of a holding pattern for the holidays. Hoping for new info to come rolling in once we’re into January
