RIVIAN Survived Hail Storm! How to check for hail damage?

No visible damage anywhere, but I’d appreciate any suggestions on how to check for hail damage. Happened around Estelline, TX.

Use a flashlight at night to light up the hood at an angle. If it looks smooth, you're good. If you see dimples, get a local Paintless Dent Repair to give you a quote.

Good to know. I always felt that the roof glass would explode at the slightest sign of stress. Touchless car wash is a scary experience for me as the pressure is higher.

The front flat part takes most of the brunt in moving car. The plastics do better than metal, so it's the small flat part of the hood I would watch for. Afaik, roof is mostly glass and plastic above windshield.

If you think there is a dent take some caulk And rub it on the area. You’ll be able to see it then.
