Bodes well for those of us waiting patiently in Canada. That may be the first truly Canadian R1T out there. Hoping they make good on their promise of delivering this year.BC plates…I scratched out the plates for their privacy.
There have been pictures of one at their office. Might be their “shop truck”.wonder if the truck belongs to a Rivian Canada employee…
yes…BC license plates started with 2 letters. I asked the lady where I get my car insurance from and the R1T at 8532 lbs (I got that # from Rivian Customer Service) will require commercial truck plates…There have been pictures of one at their office. Might be their “shop truck”.
Since they do all of the in vehicle software works in Vancouver, it would make sense for them to have a truck or two around.
If the plates started with two characters before the flag then it could be a commercial truck plate.
Where did the extra 1500 lbs come from? They sell that person a Moose with his Rivian? ?and the R1T at 8532 lbs ...
a quick Google search…wow classified as a 3/4 ton heavy duty truck?Where did the extra 1500 lbs come from? They sell that person a Moose with his Rivian? ?
That’s the gross weight, which is what is used to determine vehicle class.Where did the extra 1500 lbs come from? They sell that person a Moose with his Rivian? ?

Looks like a parks plate. Only @endokendo can say ?One of those side-angle photos makes it looks like it had BC Parks plates on it? So maybe it an actual "customer" (employee) vehicle?
