As I said in the Colorado thread, looks extremely likely that Rivian's retail location in Denver will be at 2900 Walnut Street. Not quite confirmed, but looks likely from the permits submitted for that location.

Awesome. I am about to lease an office around the corner for my business.

I would think Seattle would be on that list. They don't need 2 in CA.

~50% of all US EV sales are in CA.
Currently only Tesla is allowed to sell direct in WA, so Rivian may or may not want a showroom under those conditions. An attempt to change that restriction on direct sales by auto manufacturers was defeated in 2020, but they are taking another shot at it this year.

Of all Job Postings this is one of the more interesting ones in making me think some involvement with FEMA, Federal Government.

One thing for sure, I have been pulling permit searches left and right and I am barely finding anything in the cities they have announced in, I don't know how long it takes them to stand up Retail locations but Id imagine at least 6 months to which we have already passed. I think they are very far off from any type of location in general maybe besides their Chicago Home Baseline Location

VERY interesting. Maybe a response fleet/program that could also provide power in some emergency situations?

Like a Amazon van full of batteries?
I think an R1T derivative would be more appropriate, being more capable off road/tough conditions/water fording. Plus, remember the patent with modular options for the bed area.
