Still committed to the June timeline. Nice.
At the risk of being overly optimistic, it certainly seems like if they are comfortable restating it in a new video, they must be confident. Doesn't mean the pace will be anything to brag about, but at least a few lucky people should be getting theirs in four months.

I like the high speed puddle run clip. Sarcasm incoming... From what I understand Tesla has a patent on "Bumper ejection during high resistance scenarios" like driving through a small puddle at speed. I think it's meant to make the car more efficient and increase range in those types of situations. Rivian is probably making sure that this "feature" stays exclusive to Tesla.

Fun math time...
Let's assume their goal is 10,000 trucks this year (I know optimistic, but I sure do like those half-full glasses)
10,000 trucks
7 Months (starting June 1)
Roughly 47 trucks a day
Roughly 16 hours a day
3 trucks/hour

Yeah. It's going to happen. Anyone else need some rose-colored glasses? I buy them at Costco.

I think it's more like 1 truck on June 30th, then 9,999 over the next 183 days.
55 a day.
3.5 trucks an hour.

But it'll start slower and ramp up, so by the end of the year it'll be way more than that.

Lucid claims they'll produce six Lucid Airs per hour, at launch. Running two, eight hour shifts, that's 96 cars per day. You'd only need to operate ~104 production days to produce 10,000 units. Even if they ran only 5 days a week (only need two shifts of FTEs) you'd produce 480 units a week, so you could meet your 10k goal in under 21 weeks (just over 5 months).

So, yeah, 10k units in six months is absolutely achievable!
