Yeah the guy mentioned it, but the other host had no idea. They got a penalty, so I wonder if its because they called for help, or they just had a wide miss on one of the marks... I'm waiting for interviews, and the future video from Rivian and Emme about the R1TI did hear of an alignment issue during one of the broadcasts
Can't wait for the debrief interviews!!
Here is the link for today's at 9.50am edt and there will also be one at 8pm, but you may want to set up a notification since they usually dont start on time. What broadcast? Thanks.
My thought on the constant interruptions is a mix of poor communication skills, poor comms being out in the middle of nowhere, and ignorance on vehicles, particularly the Rivian...purely my opinion...I find the live feeds very painful to watch.I'm also curious if the hosts have some time of embargo on how much they can say about the vehicle until the end of the rally since everytime one starts talking about it, the other kind of changes topic.
Wow....... Highly critical are we?! Thatās my opinion of that comment. My thought on the constant interruptions is a mix of poor communication skills, poor comms being out in the middle of nowhere, and ignorance on vehicles, particularly the Rivian...purely my opinion...I find the live feeds very painful to watch.
Iif you refer to my post, my only dig on the presenters themselves was their comm skills. They are constantly interrupting each other for whatever reason. Also, ignorance isnāt bad word. They just donāt know. The other parts are degraded comms. Half the time you canāt hear the commentary or itās very broken due to being in the middle of nowhere.Wow....... Highly critical are we?! Thatās my opinion of that comment.
Iāve actually really liked the presentations so far and having done live events before, things go off script and itās never going to be perfect. Sorry but judging something that we (let alone the presenters) donāt know much about, let alone judging a race probably most if not all of us didnāt know existed until a Rivian was entered, is harsh! Go a little easy on spilling the Champagne.......geeeez.
They are prob taking the gamble that less weight is much more important as well. They don't want to sink. Remember that they were in dunes yesterday too, so they might learning more about the vehicle too.
No spare tires today. I think today is all in the sand dunes so they're just not necessary?
Geez that sand is really soft. You can see team 100 struggling in one of the stories today.Watching the live tracker, looks like they got stuck from ~8:45 to 9:12 or they might have been helping dig out #108. It's so hard to follow this "race" from the live trackers. Just looks like a real cluster for everyone today in the dunes. Every one is going to have sore arms and legs from digging everyone out today.
