Leads me to believe they are still finalizing and tweaking the software.
And they will continue to do so for the next 10+ years. With modern car manufacturers moving to significant OTA updates, it isn't going to make since to ship a printed "book" that explains how all the software works. It'd be out of date by the time your vehicle is delivered.

Nice catch! The important thing to me is if it can charge at 800V, which opens up the R1 vehicles to >200kW charging rates in the future and better compatibility with 3rd party charging networks.
I feel like they would call out 800V in the safety warnings then...

Maximum temperature for the speaker is 185F... where are people taking this thing?

Also multiple mentions of "this is not intended to hold people". COME ON ;)

Maximum Operating Altitude for the portable charger of 14,108ft is probably an easter egg in a way and a bit humorous. Feel free to charge up at Pike's Peak...but you won't get much regen on the way down if you fill up ;)

If any limitation due to altitude, I would guess it be related to thermal capacity of the air which would depend on density altitude which could vary drastically with temperature and humidity/pressure to a lesser extent. Thus if very critical would likely have time/temp limits associated as well.

Didn't see anything on self-leveling while parked (nice for roof top tent) nor on "camp mode" in general for leaving AC working while parked over night... did I just miss those?

Drive Mode: Conserve
p79. "Conserve maximizes range and energy conservation."

Not much information except a change in ride height with speed: Standard height <= 28 mph, Low height >= 31 mph.
It also says standard. My take is that the default mode is conserve mode. I don’t think there is any hidden extra miles to be gained.

One of the motortrend guys said the vehicle is capable of taking 300kw fast charges, but that it’s throttled for now until Rivian gets battery use/performer data and that the intent is to unlock that in the future. This was during their ama on Reddit today

Phone and fob are your keys most of the time, and are passive. This means no tapping required. The other entry methods are "active" meaning you need to tap to start.

That's how I read it anyway.
You have that backwards. Active devices are self powered. Passive means they need external power to activate.

There is a mode that just leaves the vehicle on all the time. I'm guessing that means the HVAC will remain active as well.

The motortrend guys confirmed during their AMA today that 300KW charging was coming in the future
If MotorTrend is right, that's a very impressive average charging speed. Assuming 133kwh total, 60% means nearly 80kwh. In 30 minutes. So an average rate of 160kw.
