Reportedly, it was in Harrisburg to promote new legislation allowing Direct Sales. Currently, only Tesla is authorized for direct sales.

In Delaware it is also illegal to sell EVs from manufacturer stores but they have service centers and delivery centers for Tesla. The states that allowed a specific exemption to only 1 company (Tesla) are the most hypocritical of all to me. I hope it passes for everyone’s sake… except for the dealers, who I hate with a white hot passion

I would like to know from the supposed consumer advocates how exactly the dealership model protects consumers over the direct sales model.
