Was he braking or accelerating? That grass clump that is sticking up looks like he may have been accelerating. Wouldn't it be leaning in the opposite direction if he was braking? And, would there be skid marks on the sidewalk if braking? Just asking.

…what I was thinking. Looks like controlled flight into terrain.

I'm going to assume excess of speed at this point. Probably need more experience.

So no one is questioning if there was another explanation? Like, maybe they were runoff the road by another vehicle? ??‍♂
This was in Irvine. Cop was like...this again? Nothing out of the ordinary.

Looking at 3 cars of damage, it might be closer to distracted driver for $8,000 Alex. :)
Long ago I was teaching someone to drive. We were on a fairly empty two-lane road in Southern California. A pickup came toward us and drifted into our lane. My student yanked the wheel to the right, floored the gas as we ran off the road, overcorrected to the left, ran across the road, through a ditch, a metal fence, and underneath a Cessna-172 aircraft parked on the airport ramp we'd just entered, lifting it over the Celica, bashing the windshield, and scratching the hell out of both vehicles, finally coming to a stop when I yelled "stop!" right as we plowed into a second aircraft (should'a said it sooner, so bad on me). People panic. Explaining it to my insurance company was fun. Talk about maxing out your coverage ...

These are heavy trucks with low centers of gravity. Heavier than like-sized ICE trucks.

Pretty sure the hang time competition is now officially a real thing.

Once validated, It's going to be a new spec/feature listed in the "Off-road Performance" section immediately after :wading depth 3+ ft. It should show up before tank turn as it's much more practical and goes well with Rally mode.

based on the pictures on how well R1T handled, seems 5 star crash rating.

On side note, driver goes into Rivian history books;)
