Presumably this is a Rivian employee since it's one of the wrapped cars, right? Even if this was a problem with the car (e.g. driver+, brakes, steering, etc.) you just know they're asking him to take the fall and confess to being the world's worst driver so as not to preempt their big media day next week. It's certainly unfortunate timing, lol.

Was he braking or accelerating? That grass clump that is sticking up looks like he may have been accelerating. Wouldn't it be leaning in the opposite direction if he was braking? And, would there be skid marks on the sidewalk if braking? Just asking.

I mentioned this to my wife the other day. The period between mass EV adoption and majority autonomous driving vehicle adoption is going to have some wicked accidents. Everyday drivers wielding vehicles that weigh 3 tons capable of accelerating at supercar speeds. Those senior citizens driving through the storefront of the Farmer's Market are going to make it out the back wall now as well.
