The space is not wide enough for a full size spare To lay down in, but If you search for a post by @opnwide you can stand a full-size spare up in the back and clamp it with a ratchet strap for those off road excursions.

I can’t imagine lifting that full size spare on top of the R1S roof rack without a team of 3-4 friends and a ladder/hoist, without doing damage to either your truck or yourself. Same for removal. It’s a beast.

I have my spare on a rhino rack currently (overland ruff rax soon) and I just use a ladder on the rack and slide the tire up the ladder. To remove tire I slide it down the ladder. The friction of the tire on the ladder helps so you do not have to support all of the tire weight stabilizes the movement while protecting the truck.

Don't think the door closed all the way. I'm always telling passengers "I don't think your door closed". Always the last door closed with windows up.

I find it annoying that they slapped a full-size spare on the roof. It’s an adventure vehicle! A full size spare is mandatory when off roading. They should have allowed for a full size spare to be stowed internally like the R1T ...or integrated into the rear tailgate like Jeep, Bronco, Defender, etc.

I'm curious what rack they have on top. Anyone have any ideas?
