Rivian Overland Expo 2021- CANCELLED

Edit: Confirmed by Rivian, they will no longer be attending the Expo as they focus on production ramping.

Rivian is confirmed to be attending the Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, AZ from 24-26 September 2021. I just bought tickets and was wondering if anyone else on the forums had plans to attend. It would be great to meet all the future Rivian owners in the Southwest region and hopefully plan some "over-landing" events of our own when the time comes.

I'm tempted to make the trip. It's a 10 hour drive, but might be my best chance to see a Rivian in the near future. Too bad they won't be at Mountain West...

My wife and I are going to drive up from Phoenix for the day. We aren't sure if it will be Friday or Saturday. We will just make a day trip of it. I am excited to finally see the Rivian.

The might but it is only a 20X40 booth, not sure if there is room. They may have some in the parking lot....

They had a similar sized booth in 2019 and just had one R1T there, I assume it’ll be a similar setup. The Overland Expo site listed a contact email for the Rivian rep who is organizing the event. I won’t post his email here for privacy reasons, but if you don’t want to dig for it you can DM me and I’ll share the address. You could ask him for clarification.

That's enough space for four cars... I'd be content with one.

I wish I could go but too much on my plate right now..... However, for those of you contemplating whether or not they'll have an R1T there.... I really think there is no way they don't have one... They are driving them everywhere right now... It's only a 7ish hour drive from the LA area. Now whether or not you can sit in it and touch anything.... that's another story entirely.

Rivian is also on the list to be at the overland expo at Oak Ridge Estates in Arrington, VA Oct 8-10 for East Coasters who like the temperature in the two digit range. Now I just gotta convince my wife. Nice thread @FPHater.

While you’re correct about Virginia… I must point out that Flagstaff has never reached a 3 digit temperature. They get snow and even have a ski lift there. Flagstaff is no Phoenix
