Damped Tailgate?!
Agreed! I just hope it is remotely releasable. Can't imagine that isn't something that is doable via software.Button near tailgate releases a dampened slow open of the gate.
Good enough for me.
That's so cool though, I love the idea of snowboarding without a ski resort. Though I'm sure they had pleasure of Rivian driving it back down for them lol.Key takeaways for me:
-Tailgate is definitely not powered, but definitely is dampened and released by the bedrail button
-Frunk is definitely powered
-Stereo is definitely Meridian
-There's a surprising amount of hitchhikers in Wyoming
Dampen:I have not seen any indication that pressing a button will wet the tailgate, but it does appear to be damped.
Dampers damp, they don't dampen.
Well, you sure put the breaks on that conversation.I have not seen any indication that pressing a button will wet the tailgate, but it does appear to be damped.
Dampers damp, they don't dampen.
I will fight back against definitions being added to the dictionary due to mis-use until the day I die.Dampen:
-Make less strong or intense
-to check or diminish the activity or vigor of : deaden
-to become deadened

Ha, I see what you did there.Well, you sure put the breaks on that conversation.
