The most important R1S question:

This unanswered question is literally why I went with the R1T instead of R1S. I’ve been hauling plywood and other sheet goods in it for a few weeks now!

Am I seeing this right? Is RJ's R1S different than what is shown on Rivian official? Look at the third row arm rest. Is the bottom part of arm rest missing in the second image?

From their responses so far, it seems like their “AMA” is just PR to answer marketing softballs.

They could have chosen to answer 3 real and important questions in the time they wasted on that “what’s your favorite feature?” stunt.

Yeah, I figured that would be the case too. I tossed them 3 questions that are addressing either known "issues" or points that aren't clear (ie MT and C&D being told the R1T will be able to charge at 300kw via OTA), and they obviously skipped them.

That being said, 80% of their questions very well may be "show me the interior of the R1S" and "what's your favorite feature" and not specific/detailed questions like "is battery preconditioning coming" or "Can you confirm that throttling while fast charging is a software limitation and not a hardware limitation"

I’m locked out of insty so I can’t tell for certain but isn’t that the same R1S they’ve been teasing in their content for months? So, park it near the end of the line so everyone can say they see Ss ‘on the line’ every day?
