There is still no way I'll trade my Gen 1 Quad for any Gen 2. My next EV will either be a Scout or the R3X, depending on which gets here first.

I'd trade my Gen 1 quad for a Dual Max if I could do it with minimal out-of-pocket costs. I doubt the math will line up on that though.

Depreciation is (unsurprisingly) high on cars at this price point.

That added bit of range would be nice.

I will probably be buried in my Gen 1 Quad. It’s too good.

I took up the “Riv pays your down payment” offer. They paid $30k down payment and offered $62k+ for my ‘23 R1T. Adds up to $92k on a vehicle I paid $95k for 2 years ago. Bought the ‘25 R1T with dual/max pack and perf upgrade(required). Financing $19 k.

Why? Well my ‘23 has been perfect but I get 50+ more miles of range, a powered tonneau, off-road pkg, and all the gen 2 upgrades, and a 2 year newer truck.

I hope all the “stuff” I’ve bought for my gen 1 can be used in the gen 2.
That's a better deal than I expected. I might actually run the math on the trade in.

Wow that sounds like an amazing deal. I love my Gen 1 R1T but if I could get 100 more miles out of a dual max pack for little to no cost I might have to consider it.

It looks like it's locked to a maximum of $6500.

Send pics. This sounds way too good to be true.

Sorry, not even remotely enough to pull the trigger on one and it would have to be the Tri or Quad if I were to part with my G1 quad. I have just about get everything finally sorted and dialed in pretty well. Not enough upgrades in the G2 to encourage me to switch unless the price delta is very low to upgrade.

If the G2 trucks were massively better, I might consider it, but they aren't. Not to mention I'll get hit with the depreciation of the first year of a new car which is typically pretty massive with EVs. I doubt my G1 quad will depreciate much more than 5-7k a year at this point. A new G2 truck will probably take a 15k hit the first year, or possibly more.

Doesn’t apply for Tri Motors so it doesn’t work for me.

I'm right there with you. It would have to be with little to very little money down to essentially downgrade from close to 1000hp down to 600 and some change hp.

The think is this, if they're offering these type of deals now in May, they can only get better as they go into June. That's the end of that second quarter.
