Thanks for the question and interest in our magnetic jack pucks. The Radiant Red is anodized and since there isn't a true yellow anodization (we tried) process, we went with an industrial powder coating. It is a very robust coating, but let's face it, these are jack pucks, they will get dinged and are designed to work.

Our Grip Tech rubber base is tacky and as noted in our description also helps protect the base and edges to keep it pretty.

A customer recommended this RV jack base and it looks to be an even better solution (2" model) for the combination of added lift, and other road surfaces (dirt and sand). I've ordered one myself to test. People are constantly finding solutions that best fit them. You gotta love that thinking process!
