I put together this graph to broadly illustrate Rivian's financial performance over time. While Rivian is losing money now, I think it also shows the trend toward profitability.

When Rivian says it can achieve positive gross profit in 2024, I believe it.

Nice plots. I am surprised the ASP hasn’t increased more this past quarter as many R1T pre order sales are now filled and they are quoting 1-4 months for delivery (with the new higher price).

I’m not really surprised, they had over 100k pre-March orders so there is still quite a few left to get through, add that to more R1Ts still appear to be delivered than R1S and they are less money. I would not really expect to see a big jump in ASP until 1st half of 2024.
