Rivian EDV

I stopped by the Denver service center and happened to see them showing people an EDV. I am pretty excited for Rivian to begin offering EDVs to individual customers. I think it would make a great camper van, assuming they come out with a bigger battery option.

Wow, the EDV900 is a loooong boi!

It's kind of hilarious they just made the midsection longer, but I'm sure it's much easier for production to have the front and back sections exactly the same. They can just add panels to the middle and extend the base frame (especially with no drive shaft).

The stock render must not be to scale because the 900 is 44" longer than the 700 but the wheelbase is only 18" longer.

Great use case. Local US mail delivery as well. Even a taco/food truck if they can use induction! EDV looks pretty cool, can't wait to see it evolve.
