Rivian Connect+ pricing = $14.99 monthly / $149.99 annually

I don’t think ive seen it posted anywhere but it pops up in RivianTrackers video from last nights Rivian event. Appears to be $14.99 per month and $149.99 annually. Also bonus, this is the first video i’ve seen with the slate sky interior featured.

What I am curious is are we otherwise going to lose features we currently get for free if we don’t have connect+ ?

I noticed hotspot was on riviantrakr video but also am curious if since it said media streaming, we are locked out of future casting option as well or if there is more too it. Guess we will find out in August

Yes, it looks like they're nerfing our features if we don't pay. Tesla did the same thing several years ago. Cars used to come with free connectivity to do streaming music and video, satellite maps, and traffic visualization, but now you pay $10/mo or $100/year to do that. Unlike Rivian it seems, Tesla grandfathered in the earlier cars into having free premium connectivity for life.

It's strange that Connect+ is being announced like it's bringing these new features out that have actually always been available, but now you have to pay for them.

We were told hotspot and other features would eventually by pay for play but for all the early adopter issues and empty promises (tank turn) I think we should be grandfathered in. They also said we’d have SiriusXM early summer, right? So don’t hold your breath.

Rivian has been paying for them the entire time, they always said this was temporary, but, not everyone heard that, or forgot, but it's been the plan the whole time.
