A conversion would be pretty cool but I'm guessing the range is less than 100 miles at highway speeds.

Yeah the battery range to be significantly higher to be worth using it in any kind of conversation

That manual is nerdy fun! Thanks for posting the link.

I would presume that if there is sufficient interest in a longer-range version that could be sold as a "blank slate" to a conversion company Rivian could/would produce one. That doesn't seem like a huge technical challenge--but I know the danger of assuming that someone else's job is easy! Still, another potential profit stream is not something Rivian will ignore.

With the cab being so far forward, the battery is further back than I anticipated. They moved the stuff that's in front of the firewall on the R1 to under the truck before the battery. On the 500 at least, there isn't really additional room.
