Looking at options for a L2 charger. Our energy company (Xcel) here in Colorado offers a program where they'll install either the Juicebox or the Chargepoint for you, but those are your only 2 options. The Rivian charger is obviously an option as well.

Looks like the CPHF makes the most sense as I can get 50 amps vs. 40 on the Juicebox. But they are $750 vs. the Rivian charger which is $500 pre-March pricing and pulls 48A max. Any benefit to going with one or the other?

I can't claim to be able to provide much in terms of comparing the three of them against each other, but I have had the ChargePoint Flex for a year (using it with my Hyundai Ioniq 5) and have not had any real issues with it. I bought it after seeing this review (the guy also reviews other chargers and such...):

Thank you, both super helpful! If I go the Xcel route, I'll probably do the ChargePoint since it can pull 10 more Amps than the Juicebox, if only for that reason.

The Rivian (or any EV that is) will max out at 48 amps using AC. Even if you have 50 or 60 amp charger with AC you will only ever draw 48 amps you would need a DC charger to go higher than that

Juice box allows load sharing...ChargePoint does not.

Helpful, thank you. Thats not necessary for my setup, but could see why it would be for others.

Even so, 48 vs 40 seems better to me.

Well just confirmed (for Colorado) if I want the $500 rebate offered by my energy company I HAVE to do the Enel X or the CP. so that rules out the Rivian charger or anything else for that matter…

The install cost is going to be roughly what the charger costs (more or less). So to me it's a no-brainer. Choose one of the two options your energy company gives you and get the free install. I think you'll be happy with either choice.
