Got my ride tinted today... went with XPEL Prime XR Plus 70% on all the factory tinted windows and the front widshield, and 35% for the front sides.

I'm happy with the result, but unfortunately, this morning I also noticed that a piece of the rear passenger side windows trim is coming off.

SOrry to hear that.
Do you think the tint install has anything to do with that?

Not my car but that seems highly unlikely. Tint is applied to the interior window and an installer wouldn’t touch the exterior trim.

On the other hand, if a full wrap were being done, that trim piece would be removed and reinstalled so one would not see any seams.

Three weeks of ownership and loving it. We made an absolutely last-minute switch to Rivian Blue after we were in process matching with a VIN on an El Cap Granite. Luckily the switch didn't delay us a bit and we were matched a few days later....so happy we made the switch and loving the blue. It is a beautiful color.

If anyone is on the fence on the blue like we were, just go for it!

I finally got my R1S back from the detailer (405 Motoring) who did an amazing job on my R1S! Needless to say, I highly recommend them if you're in the LA-area.

I wanted to share some pics they shared with me. Some more are on the way, so I'll update this thread once I have them. I was pretty surprised to see how much they needed to disassemble the vehicle in order to make sure they got coverage to the edges. It all started out with a decontamination wash, paint correction, clay bar, tire degreaser, etc. This is everything I asked them to do:

• 70% XPEL PRIME XR PLUS on 2nd and 3rd row windows, rear window, and front windshield
• 45% XPEL PRIME XR PLUS on front driver/passenger windows
• XPEL STEALTH PPF on all visible blue painted surfaces, and all interior screens
• XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS 10 PPF on all glossy black surfaces, lights, trims, door jams, etc.
• Chrome delete (vinyl) on all window trims and front/rear bumper trims
• Ceramic coating pretty much everywhere including wheels, door jams, plastics, glass, etc.
• Debadging all the RIVIAN letters and R1S badge (sorry, I didn't get the rear pics from them yet).

Wow that looks great! I have a blue R1S and am thinking of also doing the matte wrap on it. Do you have any pictures in different lighting? Outdoors and in?

Yay, Father’s Day - the day many of us set out to do small things and turn them into hours-long projects.

Like yesterday, when I went out to get the racks and board on the truck in preparation for this morning. Instead, I ended up detailing the truck and applying Klasse glaze. Then this morning, it was too windy to paddle, making this all pretty hilarious.

But I got this picture!

This is Opal. We took Factory Delivery of her on April 26, 2023. Here she is back home in Florida. She has almost 3,000 miles on her and no issues have developed. We have added running boards that are a big plus when getting in and out.

Looks great, you have my truck configuration, aside from it not being a dual motor/max. Also considering the running boards, which look very good also.

Full front PPF

Full ceramic coating

Blacked out all silver including tow hooks

Painted rear logos including R1S badge

Powder coated 22” brights a metallic slate

Tinted all windows 70% windshield 15% front 35% rear

Did not tint the roof wanted to see how just the windows and windshield helped with heat.

Super excited to share our latest installation for a Rivian Forum member @alwayslucky21 at our Seattle Clearbra Location in Redmond Washington. We are so thankful for the continued support from this community! We loved how the Rivian Blue looks in satin

We also offer this installation at our Vancouver ClearBra Canada Location and soon at our upcoming Nashville ClearBra as well.

We installed the following:
- Xpel STEALTH satin matte PPF
- Gloss black vinyl chrome delete
- Xpel FUSION PLUS SATIN ceramic coating to body and rim faces
- Xpel PRIME XR UV rejecting Heat rejecting Window Tint
-Paint Emblems Gloss Black

The client had our whole exterior Xpel STEALTH satin matte package done along with gloss black vinyl chrome delete done to better match the rest of his Rivian R1S which includes the mirror caps, to not have the seam visible, which happens when using the Xpel STEALTH clear bra on the mirrors.

Our extended NON Rivian OEM package also includes all front lights, interior screens, bottoms of door sills, all of the gloss black trim pieces at the roof of the R1S plus the lower front gloss black bumper and very extensive wrapped edges to eliminate virtually every last bit of gloss.

On top of the Xpel STEALTH clear bra we added Xpel FUSION PLUS SATIN ceramic coat which is specifically designed for the Xpel STEALTH satin matte film. This will help make cleaning his Rivian R1S very easy for years to come. It was also applied to the rim faces to help make the brake dust wash off easier.

The client also wanted the emblems and lettering to match with the gloss black chrome delete. Unfortunately there was an issue with our paint finish on the emblems and lettering. We let the client know, graciously he is allowing us to get it right and we will be installing new emblems and lettering when he comes back for his three week post installation appointment. Many thanks to him for allowing us to remedy and get it done right.

We've been very busy keeping up with the great deal of Rivian's coming in for installation over the past few months and look forward to many more.

How do you think it turned out? Do you like the satin/matte look with the chrome delete?
