Got mine on Friday. So far everybody who has seen it, their first comment is "I LOVE the color!" So I'm happy with the selection. I have the FE interior and it really is so gray, it doesn't clash at all with the coolness of the blue exterior, imo.

Looks amazing I have the same color arriving in the next week or two with the black all terrains… I’ll post some pics too. I do like the 21s combo 👍

I ordered the RB/FE combo as well from the R1 Shop. I was an impatient and failed Max Pack and Ocean Coast holdout. I started having some regret with the recent Ocean Coast deliveries, but the more I looked at the Forest Edge wood and grayish tones, I feel much better. I love the Forest Edge wood pattern.

Good to hear it really is more grey and doesn't clash with the blue. Please post some photos if you can.

I'm personally getting impatient. I confirmed my shop order on 8/8 and it's apparently still not at the local service center.

Very happy for you, though! Good to see the MA plate. I lived out there for 2 years 20 years ago.

That looks sharp! Thanks for posting. That wood grain is fantastic and seems inviting and warm. Seats and trim look gray with a subtle shade/tint of olive?

I think it looks good against the blue, too. It works!

Thanks again for posting. Enjoy your truck! I hope to join you in the RB/FE Seahawks build club very soon.

Also, I was out and happened to park right next to a Mach-E in blue, so got a great comparison shot in direct sunlight:

Fantastic looking truck! Hopefully my RB will arrive in 4-6 weeks and want to tint the front windows to match the back. What % are the front?

I do love the look with the 20" ATs. I really wanted them, but I felt like I'd want the better efficiency more, since we're much more likely to take road trips than deal with off-roading. I just have to see how the snow thing goes. But both your trucks look great!

Yea, I tell everyone to only get the 20“ ATs if you actually need them. I got off roading all the time so they’re kinda important for me. But most other people would be better served with the 21 or 22“ wheel/tire combo.

Anyone take delivery of a Blue R1S on the black 22s? I'm seriously considering this spec but can't find a good pic!

Happy to report I took delivery of my R1T on 9/12/2022! 😁

My wife and I have been driving EV's since a 2011 LEAF. We have also owned a 2012 LEAF; 2012 Volt; 2012 Model S; 2013 Model S; and 2010 Tesla Roadster. Currently we are down to a 2020 Model 3 Performance and now an R1T. (We also have a Jeep Cherokee that will be replaced with either an R1S or R1T via my 2nd preorder made on 11/2021).

- Original preorder date: 8/2020
- Failed Max pack and Ocean Coast holdout
- Shop access on 7/29; picked a truck on 8/8
- Took delivery at the Phoenix, AZ Service Center on 9/12/2022

Rivian Blue/Large Pack/Forest Edge/AT Brights/Spare/Underbody/Powered Tonneau

Wanted regular 20" AT staples, which still might happen via swap, but I admit I am surprised how much I like the AT brights. I typically prefer dark rims. Forest Edge, while still green, is a very muted green and looks great - even with Rivian Blue. It's a very warm color and the wood trim is beautiful.

Initial impressions (in no particular order) just from the drive home
- Mostly love the handling - feels like a sporty SUV - but I'm getting a little steering wheel shaking at 75-80 mph.
- Feels a little sluggish off the line compared to the Model 3, which is understandable and expected, but I only drove in all-purpose model. I'm guessing sport mode will feel more responsive.
- Front camera resolution is disappointing, but usable
- Charging mat is useless. I already disconnected it and will be experimenting with different alternatives folks have posted here
- Audio system was initially disappointing until I played with some EQ, enhancement, and sound stage settings. Now I'm liking it quite a bit.
- I LOVE this storage. Wow. Have already used the gear tunnel and frunk on a Costco run on the way home. Also threw some things in the under rear seat storage.
- Loving the visibility - especially since I'm so used to sedans.
- This is my first car with a birds' eye view camera. I don't know how I lived without it. Love it.
- All looks great in terms of fit and finish in just a quick initial impression. Will look more closely in the coming days, but I didn't see an obvious panel gaps like I have on my Teslas.
- Interior feels very high quality and comfortable. Love the materials. Feel like I can lounge and relax. Missing a glove box, but I'm glad my sunglasses fit in the seat compartment. By contrast, the Model 3 feels so minimalist, cold, and uninviting - but the UI is far superior at this point in time.
- I got Homelink to work with my gate opener (I don't have a garage). That was a relief.
- Tonneau cover is working so far. My delivery specialist said to use some dry lube and also to blow out the tracks with the air compressor or any can of compressed air periodically.
- For now, I'm getting as many looks in this truck as I did in my old orange Tesla Roadster. Can't wait to tint the windows.
- I cannot wait to do a little off-roading in this beast!

Overall, love the truck and can't wait to use to commute and explore in the coming months and years! Also want to thank the community here. I feel like I learned so much from reading others' experiences thus far, the camaraderie and respect is wonderful, and hope I can contribute more meaningfully now that I'm an actual owner.

A few pics of my EVolution through the years are attached below:
