Announcing our new "CLUBS" section where you can join or create a Rivian club or group! You can use this new feature to conveniently plan and discuss local events, gatherings or other club/group related topics.
So we encourage you to join (or start) special-interest and regional-based Rivian clubs at: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/group-categories/clubs-groups.1/
This will have all the details you’re looking for - even made a “nerdy” chapter so you can skip to the good stuff and not watch the full video
No, that is Ryan Reel's truck and when he did the stealth wrap he debadged the tailgate and put he Rivian logo on the iKamper himself. Is Rivian doing a partnership with iKamper?
Ah, thought it looked a bit weird haha. Thanks!NO, that is Ryan Reel's truck and when he did the stealth wrap he debadged the tailgate and put it on the iKamper himself.
I think you can just plug in to them without and registration. One thing I JUST noticed in the press release :
The site also hosts four “Level 2” Rivian Waypoints chargers, which are available for use by any EV – not just Rivian vehicles – through the Rivian smartphone app.
So to use the Waypoint chargers with a non-Rivian, a user needs to utilize the Rivian app? Which I presume means registering. I guess its a good way to capture customer data while giving away free electrons!
That would be a great one, just off I5. I really hope they plan something for 101 as well. I’m one of those weird people that would much prefer 101 over I5 even if it means an extra hour to Orange County from SF.Hope they open the Kettleman City one soon, good midpoint between Bay Area and Southern California.
Not Kyle, but yes.@OutofSpecKyle - is this essentially Rivian's version of the Tesla Superchargers? Like, the best of the best chargers for the Rivian's?
