But they are not making vehicles until 2024.
I hope they use the center they have at Normal along with the test track there for on site deliveries and test out the concept.

They also aren’t likely to ever build R1 vehicles there, but R2, etc. instead.

I meant build R1S in Normal, ship to Social Circle for delivery, and let me drive on their adventure trail. That’d be more fun than taking delivery at a warehouse in west midtown Atlanta.

That would be great, when is your delivery window because they are not even starting to build until summer this year so it will be late 2023 before what you suggest is even an option unfortunately

hah you and me both. But honestly I don't think that plant will be ready by then. Unless you toss the super fast China builders crews on it, then maybe.

My window is first half of 2023, so it’s a pipe dream that any facilities will be actively in use by then. But let me dream a little for a day! ?

I'm thrilled they're adding a delivery center. So I can pick up a new Rivian and then head over to ATL to pick up a new Taycan. ;-) at the Porsche Experience Center.
