I've recently put my all-weather mats in place for the winter and am finding them to be quite slippery (for feet; they cling to the floor very well). I've been feeling like the risk of a foot resting at an angle, ready to accelerate from a traffic light, slipping into the accelerator is a bit too high. For an EV as quick/heavy/powerful as the R1T that could be devastating. Also I can sometimes feel my foot slip when stepping out of the truck since that takes a pretty wide step to clear the vehicle.
So, any suggestions for improving the grip of the mats? I've seen some options for spray coatings and grip tape, but I'm not sure what will work well with the material of the mats (in the case of coatings) or their structure/shape (in the case of tape, since there are ridges/etc).
