Enrolled this week in the Recurrent battery monitoring service this week. Figured that a crowd service source comparing my battery to others might be useful. And if and when I trade my Tee, it wouldn’t hurt to have a battery “carfax” in hand.

I just looked this up. I had no idea this existed. Interesting for sure.

Was there a cost involved?

What are downsides to this? I am so new to this concept I just want to try and figure it all out really....

It’s interesting data, but like everything else- if you’re not paying, you’re the product.

Cost is free to the owner. A dealer will have to pay for the battery report just like they do for CarFax. As far as me “being the product”, well, every time we use the internet .. or fire up the Tee, there’s a whole host of companies taking notice.
