I recently found (then lost) a great thread about charging and real world mileage that offered some very interesting points about the possibility of using a propane-powered generator to allow remote charging when there are no other alternatives. I read this thread on my iPhone late one evening and have not been able to find it since.
My question is this: what specs are necessary to safely charge a Rivian R1T from a propane-powered portable generator? Does anyone have any recommendations on makes and/or models that would safely fit that requirement. I apologize to the OP as I was half asleep at the time I was reading about this or I wouldn't be asking these questions.
My wife and I are avid fly fishing people, and imagine ourselves doing the occasional trip to fairly remote locations. It seemed to me that if the propane-powered generator was a practical thing, then it would be one less thing to worry about when playing in the great unknown.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.....
