Recommendation needed: bike rack/mount compatible with Rivian crossbars

i know nothing about bike racks but trying to gather info on what options are out there that are compatible with the Rivian OEM crossbars. not looking for hitch mount bike racks. want to mount them on the bed or the roof. any recommendations would be appreciated.

Yakima high speed has the most forward position and won’t overhang the back of the truck. Secures very solid also.

I put the front wheel in a wheel bag inside the cabin. I use a tie down strap through the bed tie downs nearest the cabin through the rear wheel, and run the Gear Guard cable (long) through the Rocky Mounts. I just leave the bike rack in the bed exposed since I drive the bike to the Club ride start 3 times per week. The tailgate is up. You might be able to fit up to 5 bikes in the bed with a second bed rack near the cabin and the tailgate down, and wheels in bags in the bed. Haven’t tried that, yet.

I tried this, but it is inconvenient to mount the bike with a thru axle on the front of the bed. Yeah, the molle panel means I have to angle the bike a bit so that I can close the tailgate. It is much easier to mount the bike with the fork near the tailgate.

Notice the worn, fuzzy bar tape where my hands go? I won’t change it because it suggests I ride a lot and I hope it intimidates other cyclists at coffee stops. Aren’t humans funny?

I have, and like, the Yakima front loader. It also fits on a Subaru outback (as well as many other racks).

Yes, all my Mtb’s are thro axle so it’s quick and I prefer the stability and low profile.

also think bout the weight of the bike. Lifting a 50lb ebike up there for instance isn’t for everyone.

I was lucky with the Impreza—the saddle barely touched the garage door. Using the truck bed is less stressful.

Yes, this is an E-MTB, and so far, I really like the Piston SR. I usually just lift it onto the rack from the side. Front tire rail holds it in place until rear rail can cinch down. Weight (42lbs) is not so much an issue as the Piston is less than 20lbs and cargo crossbars are rated at 250 per pair while driving.

I also have the Kuat Piston SR, bought it long before Rivian was offering them. I like it a lot and feel like it is similar to the 1UP option, just a little more modern. Works great on the OEM crossbars.
