Rear Wiper Fluid Not Working

Anyone got their rear window wiper fluid spraying in their R1S? I press the rear window fluid button on the stalk, keeping it held down and I hear a whine from the front area, which presumably is the wiper fluid pump, but no fluid comes out the back. Front wiper fluid comes out fine.

Also reported on another thread, its the washer fluid they use, has a distinct smell.

That isn't unusual - it almost is mouthwash. They add methanol (a type of alcohol which I believe is also in mouthwash) to the water and detergents so that it won't freeze.

I still haven’t gotten around to taking it to the service center. I just got a recall notice, but no timeline yet, so I’ll mention it when I take it in for the recall.

FYI, mobile service was able to fix my rear fluid problem a couple of days ago. The tech ultimately found a kink in the hose where it runs behind the passenger-side A-pillar trim (where the speaker is). The hose was just clipped in at a goofy angle and had to be straightened out. Hope it's such an easy fix for others.
