Rear Light Bar Squeaking

I scheduled a service appointment for this, but it was legit killing me.

Has anyone experienced the rear light bar squeaking? We noticed it recently while driving on even the slightest hump or pebble in the road, and it’s gotten progressively worse.

I couldhandle it anymore so I decided to poke at it. Video attached shows how to replicate it. I cleaned it off very well (it was really dirt along the top and bottom inner edges of the light bar, and inside the rear channel where it sits.

Still squeaks. I put some thin shop towel on one side and it muffled it a bit, but it’s still definitely squeaking along a large portion of it.

PS found a new crevice to clean during detailing… ??‍

Also I would like to point out how easy that light bar is to access and disconnect

I noticed the same issue on my 2025 R1S.

I noticed the same issue on my 2025 R1S.

The service center said it wasn’t fully seated. I’m not sure that’s entirely accurate because it was level, but if so, something definitely dislodged it. I’d check that it is seated fully.
