These look really nice and I like the clean look with putting the plastics back on. Debating ordering these or waiting to see what the slider option may look like. @RealWheelsEV , any update on timeline for potential slider option?

Sliders are realistically going to be closer to an end of summer early fall timeframe. Wish it could be earlier, but I wouldn’t want to over promise.

Thanks for the update! I completely get under promising and over delivering vs over promising and under delivering. More than likely I’ll just go with the running boards, so you may see a R1T order from me soon.

I received my order last evening and started my install today. First, I have to say that it was very well packaged. Since I have watched the installation video, I didn't have to read the instructions into details. I took my time and didn't try to be hurry; I guess I used less than four hours to unbox, get all the tools together and install.

I'm actually very happy with the quality and the looks.

I received the running boards yesterday and I installed it today. They look really solid. Nicely packed and it was shipped asap per my request.

Installation took 3.5 hours. Instructions and video are superhelpfull. I could have done this under 2 hours, if I had impact wrench. It is very hard to work with tp55 without that. Even though I got torx bits , but manually it was very hard to do it. Also I saw it getting free at one point. Anyone who wants to do it pls make sure you have all tools. FYI, I am not a DIY person. If I can do it, anybody can do it. Cutting panel was easy. Taking panel out first time was very hard. You need to make sure flat head driver is not only long but head is wide enough. In some panels it was hard to put it back, but still not a big deal.

For those of you that have these now, do you feel the extruded holes are sharp at all? Not worried about normal shoes, but curious if you think they'd puncture a foam based flip-flop.

To me, the holes are NOT sharp at all.

can anyone speak to how much clearance (if any) these take away? Looks like they sit about 1 inch lower than rest of the underbody.

Hey! We've got a Limestone R1T with black wheels. Would the polished Stainless look good with it or go with the safe Black running boards?

I’m currently out of town and not by our Rivians but I believe you are correct, it is approximately an inch or so drop from the underbody panels.

I don’t think you can go wrong with either choice on Limestone. Black is always a safe choice and looks great. The hand polished satin finish is a little more bold and stands out a bit more. Honestly they both look great.

I don’t have any Limestone photos showing the hand polished satin finish with me, but here are some black ones on a R1S that came out awesome for you to check out.

The total height including bracket is around 2 inches. They don't reduce clearance that much since the moulding near the rear wheel is essentially the same height as the mounting bracket. My R1S is in kneel mode in this picture, so still around 9 inches of clearance.

An inch would be great. I've been asking around this and other companies. Most of them look like 2"-3" if you look at the fasteners underneath. I could be completely wrong.

I installed mine this weekend. The installation video is really well done. You'll definitely need a breaker bar or impact wrench to remove the big bolts used to hold the brackets. The clips on the body panels are a pain to deal with but are manageable. The look and function of the installed running board are great. I'd highly recommend the product and company.

Finally got some time to get mine installed. I love the look! I did measure wrong on one side. 😩

It sounds and looks like you both did a great job on the installation! Thank you for the feedback and the installed photos. I know that I get asked all the time about what they look like on different colors so photos after they are on are always appreciated. Thanks again!
