Joking aside, it is supposed to mean a no stopping zone. Different locations may not follow recommended standards though. The solid white line length before entering an intersection is also supposed to be sized such that if you are within that distance when the light turns yellow and going the speed limit that you'll safety get through the intersection before it turns red. I run into that not being sized appropriately all over the place.

Almost makes me want to switch back to El Cap/Ocean Coast...

These are certainly some of the highest-quality images we have seen yet. El Cap looks fabulously moody and regal on what looks like a cloudy/overcast day.

According to most accounts the wood trim of the Ocean Coast interior is supposed to look pale/washed out/pickled(?) but in these photos they look great. Hopefully these haven't had too much editing done to them.

The photos were made to be very contrasty, which is why OC looks really good. I do wish it would have this level of contrast in real. But in real it is very pale and washed out
