Looks like they’re sticking with the fabric ”pull loops” for access to underseat storage. Functional I suppose, but makes me question the guy who told us they were benchmarking the interior against the likes of Bentley and Lambo.

You can use benchmark a Mitsubishi Mirage against a Bentley Flying Spur. It won't do that well in the quality department, but you could still use Bentley as your benchmark.

Saying Bentley is a benchmark isn't the same thing as saying you're going to meet/exceed that mark.

Also, is Audi really a good benchmark? I sat in top-trim Q5 and Q7 over the weekend and they were underwhelming. Way more plastic and "meh" materials than I was expecting.

RJ is Vegan. I think that's a commendable choice. I have lately thought that I should switch (for ethical reasons). It's a hard thing to do, and I respect those who have successfully transitioned.

I read some press this morning where Rivian that stated those vehicles are "pre-production loaners". From Rivian's perspective, probably free advertising more than extended testing.
