If I'm not mistaken the configurator has new updated interior photos, ocean coast seats below are different from what we have seen of the seats for a long time (in black below). If the configurator ones are an update I like it!

Isnt that the difference in adventure vs explore? Not anything new afaik.

Top is Adventure trim in Ocean Coast, bottom is Explore trim in Black Mountain. Same as always.

Factory run out of white paint before they got to the back of the R1S? And what color are we calling the front bumper??

Was sort of joking. Rear of the R1S is black which is interesting to see as wife is the one with the "need" for a three row SUV and she likes black.

What is the yellow and red button in the center console? An ejection button?

Just a guess, but perhaps it activates the contractors to disconnect the traction battery. Test mules may have prototype/beta battery management software and non-production hardware, not to mention the mules may be subject to abnormal conditions, so it makes sense (imo, at least) to have an easy ”shut it down” button that is not dependent on any special software/hardware that may be under test.
