Ha, sorry! Forum is pretty active nowadays, so I missed it. Getting less busy though with everyone blocking each other though haha

What's going on here...is this a webcam duct taped to the sideview mirror??! Is Rivian trolling us now? 😂

Jokes aside, I wonder if they're using that as an easy way to see how all the tape that's on the side of vehicle is reacting to wind when driving. Pure guess, but that's probably the easiest way to get a live view that's safe while driving.

It was also on the passenger mirror as well.

Dont they typically do that type of testing in wind tunnels?

I'd assume so too. Just couldn't think of another reason to have cameras facing the side of the car and cover the car with a bunch of seemingly shittily applied tape. 🤷‍♂️

More from the Blue Origin launch!

I rewatched the launch on Amazon Prime. Their feed mentioned Rivian 6 times. They had an opportunity for 7 but she said "truck" when they panned over to the R1S before the 4 stepped out of the Training Center. I am curious what the CEC was like volume-wise w/ people inquiring about Rivian.

Now let's hope Rivian capitalizes on Amazon's advertisement of the R1 vehicles...
