yes, that is the same LA Silver / Forest Green R1T that we've seen since the beginning. there is a British auto show video on Youtube from a couple years ago that show a lot of things on that one.
You mean forest edge, right?

Is it just me or does this spot where the LIDAR once was look removeable? Like there is a possibility it could be added back...It looks more like a cap than a solid panel...

Idk. I would like to think that LIDAR would/could be a possibility down the road...

It may be the same color combination, but this is clearly a production vehicle and not the early prototype.

I don’t see anything new here, but a friend of mine that just started working for Rivian sent me some photos.

I did ask how tall this guy in black was and he told me he was pretty short. My friend is about my height, 5’11”, so whatever that translates too. Also, the truck is said to be at max height here.

Can you please ask you friend what numbers does he see at range indicator ?

Not sure if LIDAR assists in full autonomy or for Level3 autonomy driving. RJ always said it would be a post delivery upgrade when L3 becomes available.

Sure. probably a different car, but that is a color combo they have allowed out of the bag for a while. One of the few.

Hopefully they either got permission first. Im kind of guessing that if they were in an area that sensitive, phones wouldn't be allowed.
I would bet they didn't get permission. There's no way Rivian would suddenly give permission to send photos out if theyre trying to keep everything "quiet" until whenever they launch.

Meh, I wouldn't put it past Rivian to do it this way. Let all the good info out from pseudo-grassroots leaks.

I mean, the Instagram video of the camp kitchen was short but some of the most informative content they've released in a long time. Why don't they have a person or two that basically all they do is post videos of them playing with everything? Would be perfect!

One of the better photos of the charging port - opening ‘out and rotate’ - on Instagram from LA.

It also looks a bit like forward facing radar like in the audis. (Like the q8) and VWs
