Interesting colored and exposed tow hooks out back now too...April 9th, 2021 back of the Rivian building in Irvine.
Hood up is generally a sign of some mechanical trouble. ?Are they checking the oil level?
Or they’re unloading something from the frunkHood up is generally a sign of some mechanical trouble. ?
Tow hooks on the back!Interesting colored and exposed tow hooks out back now too...
I doubt that’s a primer as they would have painted the body prior to marrying the body and frame. This one clearly has the frame attached. Willing to bet this is the infamous launch green.Oh no, K might reignite the debate on whether that's just the "nice looking" primer coat or a view of the real Launch Green paint.
I'm a firm believer that is the primer that sparked the employee's input that a similar color paint would compliment the R1 nicely.
Given there is no step otherwise, could one use those hooks as one? think they protrude enough? Here is a different angle, ignore the colors I lightened it up to see more details in the shadows. You can see the hitch receiver under the license plate.
Probably not unless barefoot but that doesn't mean something couldn't hook in as a step.Given there is no step otherwise, could one use those hooks as one? think they protrude enough?
In for its first oil change?April 9th, 2021 back of the Rivian building in Irvine.
Ripping that panel off will be one of the first things I do. I hate light colored contrasting plastic panels. If you look at some of the other pictures, looks like the gray panel covering the hitch also hides the rear tow hooks.
Not when the tailgate is down.Given there is no step otherwise, could one use those hooks as one? think they protrude enough?
I respectfully disagree. This is a different vehicle and bumper from the tow hook pic, likely an Explore vs Adventure difference. Lots of things are different, like lines around plate, shape of light grey, and that extra protrusion underneath the plate. If you look at some of the other pictures, looks like the gray panel covering the hitch also hides the rear tow hooks.
You are right, same license plate number but look at the different pattern in the wrap. Two different R1T’s.I respectfully disagree.
