I think they are two different vehicles. The one in the video has the front black fender. The one in the image, does not. There is also the difference in that the windows are not wrapped in one, but are in the other.

There is some clear photoshopping happening on the rear door of the one in the white/sketchy wrap:

- seam is missing to the left of the rear door handle
- seam at window line between front and rear door is missing
- some weird angles and corners along the roof line and back corner

Makes me think that one doesn’t actually have a full rear door—if it even has a rear door at all.

One more thing: why did they put the wrap on the rear window? Could that have also been photoshopped after the fact?

damonator5000, many things in that pic are really wonky. I’m not sure about being photoshopped, but I can just hear my best friend from Arkansas say, “That boy ain’t right!”

While the seams along the bottom rail (below what appears to be the back door) look like actual seams not seen on other R1Ts, the upper circle you made highlights what looks less like a seam, and more like a cable coming out of the wrapped “window” to a monitor on top of the roof.

This leads me to three possible conclusions*:

1. This is an advanced copy of a forthcoming vehicle.

2. This is an elaborate hoax to drive us all crazy, or

3. I’ve lost my ability to write concise, coherent sentences.

(*More than one answer my be correct)

I also noticed that the truck with the roof tray has some damage to the left side of the rear bumper. Big crack in it, and looks like one of the sensors is missing.

They seem to be really putting these trucks through some harsh testing, which I think is a good thing!

Could this be a R1T with a different battery size? Just some speculation but maybe the smallest battery pack will also come with a smaller back seat? (to conserve weight?, because you can shorten the wheelbase?)

If they were cold-testing their battery packs I could see them wanting to test all three battery sizes at the same time.

They’ve repeatedly said that all R1 models will share a common skateboard, so I doubt it. I’d put my money on either just testing out some future concept or this is a very early R2 prototype. Or they are just screwing with our heads. Again.

Next thing they’ll do to drive us all crazy is post an R1S in a wrap featuring a very small-scaled “Where’s Waldo” scene, with no damn Waldo to be found!

Better yet, make it a “Where’s RJ” wrap!

Same wrap at 3:06. Looks like maybe they were wrapping there as the fender was off?

Or a "Where's Details" wrap. It will be a text mix of "right around the corner" and "closer to the start of production".

Just so long as I don’t see “We’ll have to circle back to that” anywhere on that wrap. If I hear that one more time, it’s off to Costco to buy a replacement T.V.?
