I actually like the look of the bright and configured it on my R1T
I agree they look better in the photo then they do in the configurator. Not ready to switch yet, should see some better photos (or in person ?) eventually with direct light before I have to make a decision.

Also from the same video the standard 20” ATs without the polished accent pieces.

So, I'm wondering about this. The only "dark" options available in the configurator are for the 22", and the "Bright" style for the 20".

This is the second time I've seen a dark configuration *in this thread*, for a wheel option that doesn't seem to be available. The other was a picture of a LG truck with dark 21" rims. So how do we plebs get these?

Wouldn't mind seeing the 21" Road's without the Aero Inserts....?✌?

Which then the geek brain in me also goes here next..."I wonder just how much real world efficiency those Aero Inserts will add?!? Will it be more than the ~3-5% max upset perfect conditions on a road trip...on the Model3. But that is a much more aerodynamically efficient vehicle, so maybe the 21" Road's will have slightly more of an impact?!? Larger wheels?!? Or it will be a wash because larger battery, more miles, though way less efficient in comparison?!?!"

Is that the Physics/Math of it?!? ?

There was this photo of the 21s without the aero inserts and some missing polished sections I had mistaken for 22 sport dark.

Yes, but your "dark" wheels look like this:

The dark wheels shown above don't.

koersontap - Good catch! Those look to be the 20" All-Terrains without the 5 machined horseshoes. It's a great look and could potentially save a few steps in the wheel manufacturing process. Of note, there are powder coating shops everywhere that will take any stock wheel and coat them in any color you want for about $1K. Complicated part is what happens to your Riv while they take 3 days to paint its wheels.

I don’t get the $1700 price difference between the 20” AT bright and dark. Sure the dark looks good but a few cans of plasti-dip only cost a few bucks and, if done right, will look just as good.

Also, the 20” standard AT brights are damn good looking wheels. That’s what I’d get.
Some people are willing to pay for exclusivity and Rivian is trying to take advantage of those types of people. Take the bait or don't.

I’m thinking the 20” brights, kinda look like, Ehem! Capt. America’s shield, so I’m all in on those. Lol.

I need this option! I like that better than the all terrain dark ones.

Been trying to find real life photos of the AT Brights and found these on a FB group. Looks better than the configurator IMO.

Agree! These made me shudder online. Not sure if I've seen a real picture of these ones yet, but this looks damn good. Almost enough to make me consider changing......

Again.....
