Posting this as a curious event. Has anyone else noticed something like this?
I was driving home from work Monday at 5:30 PM and I noticed that my range was not changing at all as I drove. My range stayed at 96 miles for the entire 15 mile drive. For a moment I thought that perhaps Rivian had discovered the secret of perpetual motion/free energy, lol. The next morning, the range had dropped to where it should have been.
I checked Home Assistant to see if it recorded the same anomaly - it should have, and yes it did. There should be a decrease ramp from ~5:30 to ~6:00 PM while I was driving, as indicated by the GO status. Instead, it went to sleep, woke up just before 8 PM, and updated SOC and range. I'm also not sure why it was in READY status from 3:30 to 5:30. I was nowhere near the Rivian, it should have been sleeping....?
Not concerned, just a curious sequence of events for a tech inquisitive person to ponder. ?
