Am I reading this right to indicate that the rear windows on the R2 that will open out will also be removable?
Now give me removable roof panels and I'll be set!Exactly ?!
I think it's been established prior that the concept art in these drawings is for illustrative purposes only. The R2 is already known to have the mechanism to open the window outwards that is seen in the patent. It's a logical step to deduce that this is for the R2. Adding this to the R1 would be a significant redesign.Third row, split 2nd row window, trim around third row window going forward, that’s an R1S.
Idea is great, but they always end up rattlingNow give me removable roof panels and I'll be set!
As I’d pay for a sunroof that actually opens, & a retractable blind in an R1S.This would be a great addition to the vechile because it will help solve the buffeting. It reminds me of my older cars where it was a great way to help air escape while driving.
I know it's wishful thinking, but it would be awesome if the Gen 1 could be retro fitted with this option. I would pay for it even if the opening/closing was manually operated.
I agree. Make these fixed and pass along the savings to the customer. People will disagree with me, but it’s adding complexity for not much customer value. This seems like one of those things that everybody goes wow about & then never actually uses
