No! seats close perfectly with this INSTALLED, no interference

Any thought of hinging it at the passenger rear seat edge so you could leave it installed and be able to access the under seat compartment without out needing to raise the subwoofer side?

We started with a hinge, and that sort of plan - but that was needing fastened (drill/screw), which I didn't like and realize no one likes drilling/screwing. Once we started playing with it we realize this design was really easy to use / install / remove - and no modification needed.

Here ya go! 170 pounds of water without even a flinch! Each bottle is 42.5 pounds. Notice seats up and down - perfect, no interference from deck plate!

The dogs.

Mine generally will stay in the up position unless I'm really heavy on the accelerator. Of course that's going to all depend on how far back/forward the front seats are.

Your seats must have a bit tighter hinge then... The seat hinges in my R1T are very floppy. Even when folded up, they want to fold closed rather easily, even while driving very conservative.

This looks excellent, well done. Question for all - I did a quick test and it felt like the AC vents to the backseat area are blocked with the seat up - does anyone know if that is correct, or perhaps I had the rear vents turned off?

Mine stay up - quite firmly. I wonder if one can tighten the hinge bolts to adjust this?

It is more friction than it looks, definitely not slippery. It's the same coating we use on running board tread plates. I was actually impressed we could slide the water bottle across it!

Yes, this is great! I've seen people make some custom covers but it's nice to have one for those without the patience/talent to make their own.

I second the comment about the finish, I can just hear my corgis' nails sliding around on this. Any thoughts on a made-to-fit carpet or rug or something?
